Return Policy
Chapman-Smith Enterprises Pty Ltd ACN 142 910 781 trading as Discount Party Supplies (“we”, “us” or “our”) treats its business very seriously and customer satisfaction is of the highest importance. Accordingly, we have developed a Returns Policy to ensure that you are fully aware of your rights and our obligations to you with respect to returns.
When will I be entitled to a refund, exchange or credit?
You will be entitled to a refund, exchange or credit where:
- you are not completely satisfied with your purchase (‘change of mind’);
- the product is faulty or not fit for the purpose that products of that kind are commonly bought;
- the product does not match the sample or description advertised on our website; or
- we are required to do so under any relevant laws.
In the event that you believe that any of the above apply to you and consequently, you believe that you are entitled to a refund, exchange or credit, you must provide us with:
- your full name and address;
- the original order number; and
- the reason for claiming the refund, exchange or credit.
Returning product/s to us
You must notify us by telephoning us on 1300 858 703 or completing our online ‘Contact Us’ form within five days of receiving the product/s if you wish to return the product/s to us. Claims for refunds, exchanges or credits outside this time period will be at our discretion.
After discussing your return request with you, we will provide you with your Return Authorisation Number (RAN). You must return the product/s including the RAN within seven days of us providing you with the RAN. We will not acknowledge any returned product/s unless an RAN is included with the returned product/s.
We reserve the right to assess the condition of the returned product/s prior to offering a refund, exchange or credit. This may result in a refund, exchange or credit being refused by us.
Condition of returned product/s
In order for us to provide you with a refund, all change of mind returns must be in brand new, unused, unopened and re-saleable condition with all original outer packaging in tact.
Return delivery charges
Return delivery charges are your responsibility. We will not be responsible for lost, stolen or damaged return deliveries. We recommend that you return the product/s to us via Registered Post so the item can be tracked and for your own piece of mind.
Returned packages
If for whatever reason you do not take delivery of your items or you have entered your address incorrectly and your order is returned to us you will be entitled to a refund (excluding original delivery charges and/or any return charges we have incurred) or we can resend your order and you will be responsible to pay for the new delivery charges.
Provision of refunds, exchanges or credits to you
You will be entitled to a refund, exchange or credit equal to the cost of the product only, excluding original delivery charges. If a product is defective or if you were sent an incorrect product, your refund or credit will include your return delivery charges. You will be responsible to pay for the new delivery charges for change of mind exchanges.
Refunds, exchanges and credits will only be made upon the return of the product. All refunds will be issued via the same method used to purchase the items.
