Ice Cream Lollipops
Makes 12.

Ingredients:

  • 1 litre of your child’s favourite ice-cream
  • 12 pop sticks
  • 250g cooking chocolate
  • 100’s and 1000’s, Chocolate Sprinkles or other edible decorations

Method:
Mould ice-cream into small balls with a scoop or spoon and place on a lightly greased oven tray.
Push a paddle pop stick into the centre of each one and place tray into freezer.
Melt the chocolate and allow to cool slightly. Pour sprinkles/decorations into a bowl.
Dip ice-cream balls in the melted chocolate and then dip them in your bowl of decorations.
Return to freezer until ready to serve. Can be made several days ahead.

Yummy Dirty Cups
Serves 8-10

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1x pack chocolate instant pudding mix (serves 4)
  • 450g chocolate cookies, crushed
  • 150g chocolate chips
  • Gummy worms or insects
  • 8-10 plastic cups

Method:
Beat together in a medium size mixing bowl chocolate pudding mix and milk. Let stand for a few minutes
Pour half of the crushed cookies into bowl and fold through until combined.
Place 1 tbsp of the left over crushed cookies in the bottom of each cup. Spoon the pudding mixture into the cups until about ¾ full.
Sprinkle the rest of the crushed cookies on top of the pudding and then decorate with gummy worms or insects.
Put in fridge to chill for at least 1 hour.

 

Crispy Rice Apples

Ingredients:
•½ cup honey
•1 cup rice bubbles
•2 apples

Method:
Peel and cut apples into bite size pieces and stick on toothpicks.
Put honey in one bowl and the rice bubbles in another.
Dip apple in honey and then roll in rice bubbles until coated.

 

Fruity Float
Serves 4

Ingredients:

  • 8 cherries
  • 8 blueberries
  • 4 tbsp raspberry syrup
  • 4 cups lemonade
  • 4 scoops vanilla ice-cream
  • 4 tall glasses

Method:
Place 2 cherries and 2 blueberries in each tall glass.
Pour 1 tbsp of raspberry syrup and 1 cup of lemonade into the glasses.
Top each glass with a scoop of ice-cream.

 

Pretzel Spiders
Makes 4

Ingredients:

  • 4 mini round soft cheeses
  • 16 small pretzel sticks, cut in half
  • 8 sultanas

Method:
Push the pretzel sticks at an angle into a soft round cheese, four on each side, as the legs of the spider.
Using a stick of pretzel make 2 little holes in the top of the cheese and push 2 sultanas into them as the eyes.
